Paddy Gilmore has spent 25 years working in marketing, first as a creative then as a strategist.
He started out as a junior copywriter at Bloomberg, when Kylie was at number one*. He then went on to create ad campaigns for Médecins Sans Frontières, edited magazines for Visa and Barclaycard and helped Three create one of their most successful ad campaigns ever. He’s trained senior marketers at brands like HSBC, EY and Aviva while delivering keynotes across Europe.
He has a special interest in humour in marketing. On the back of this, he writes The Drum’s Funny Matterscolumn every month.
* ‘Spinning Around’ — a fine track. Life without Kylie would be a duller place indeed.
